The water lance measures 150 cm (59 in) in length with a 40 mm (1.6 in) diameter, featuring a 12 mm (0.5 in) nozzle orifice, a dual-channel design (with the lower gold-colored port serving as the inlet and the silver-colored port as the outlet), and is constructed from carbon fiber.
Based on the on-site demonstration, the following conclusions were drawn:
1. When used for urban high-rise firefighting, the firefighting drone must be connected to a fire engine to pressurize the water stream. Therefore, their primary promoted scenario involves the Fire Emergency Management Center (selling the vehicle and drone as a package). The drone cannot operate independently as a single unit.
2. When operating on its own battery, the drone has a flight time of only 4 min at an altitude of 100 m (328 ft), and approximately 12 min when hovering at around 50 m (164 ft) (slight margin of error).
3. The primary operation method currently relies on a ground-based tethered power supply. However, this is costly as it requires voltage conversion equipment both on the ground and onboard the aircraft.
4. When supplied with water pressure of 1.5-2 MPa from a fire engine, the water stream range is within 20 m (66 ft). When using a portable pressure supply unit, the range is about 30 m (98 ft) with a 5 m (16 ft) spread.
5. The manual control interface utilizes the 5150 operation interface. An additional power alarm feature has been integrated because, as a hose is attached, electronic weighing isn't possible. The system instead uses motor power draw as a warning for potential overload conditions.
